Poll: Americans Say World War III Likely

WTF? It's already happening people. Get with the program.

WASHINGTON Jul 23, 2005 — Americans are far more likely than the Japanese to expect another world war in their lifetime, according to AP-Kyodo polling 60 years after World War II ended. Most people in both countries believe the first use of a nuclear weapon is never justified.

Okay, first problem; it's an AP story out of Japan. Of course the “Nukee” is not going to like it, but the “Nuker” shouldn't feel bad about saving countless lives with that action.

Two-thirds of Americans say the use of atomic bombs was unavoidable. Only 20 percent of Japanese felt that way and three-fourths said it was not necessary. Just one-half of Americans approve of the use of the atomic bombs on Japan.

Wait, 66% say unavoidable, but 50% approve???

Hideko Mori, a 71-year-old Tokyo housewife, said that as a child in Nagano in central Japan, she and her neighbors had to take refuge to avoid American air raids.

Holy Shit! I had no idea we were the bad guys!!!???

Trade tensions have increased between the United States and China after America ran up a $162 billion deficit with China last year, the largest ever with a single country.

So. What in the hell does this have to do with world war three?

I don’t think we can EVER USE ENOUGH NUKES. But that’s just me.

Thoughts. Comments.

personally Cold war was kind of a world war if you look at how much money was put into defense and possible war preperations, so that was WWIII. The war against islam.. that is WWIV in my opnion.

Now this is assuming you think that WWI was the first world war.. but let's not get into that.

Yeah, WE were the bad guys. I feel bad for the 71-year old. Just as she should feel bad for my great uncle Bill who was sleeping on the California on December 7, 1941. I remember him telling me that was just such a joy to partake in.

Japanese asses.

I think there should be a check-box on your tax form to donate extra money for cruise-missles.
